hellos. =)
my mum's out, so i can blog.
lol. technically i'm supposed to be studying for physics.
but.... [w^^"]

okays, finally, the end of the monday-tuesday-monday-tuesday regime.
it was absolutely hellish.
monday-blues twice a week, i nearly died. x
please don't ever let it happen again.
wednesday-thursday-wednesday-thursday might be more bearable.
friday all the way is the best. =P

maths test, i think i'm screwed.
the 1st part, i was like so happy.
everything i can do. except for the surds, did until i got a little lost.
so i carred on to the rest. the last question was a killer.
i was messing about here and there, with no visible order. [good luck marking =)]
someone's equation even got so long, 1 line was not enough. ;)
after the test, stayed back, i became a 'tuition teacher'!
lols. just hope that my attempt to help ends up screwing up even more badly. >.<

i think the weather's getting all crazy.
first its so hot you sweat just by not doing anything.
then it starts pouring, till you feel like sleeping.
that sums up what happened today.
maths, still on differentiation. logarithamic functions. wth.
social studies, i think we have a future politician in our midst. =)
recess, played bball again after dunno how long. more of a laughing session though. ><
the periods after contact time and geography, i just got drowsier and drowsier.
then chemistry. i just took every oppurtunity to doze.
mrs loh wasn't all too pleased with that.
and i find that she's a little childish, no offense intended.
everything also threaten with the "Death Note"... wdv.

going to camp over at school tml, and its to the school start-point bright and early in the morning. [north brook or something].

hellos hellos!
2 days through this 'test week'
like, literally. 4 tests out of 5 days.
and i'm happy to say, i'm keeping up!
hahas.
wordpower, although after the test i found out i screwed up 3 questions,
i'm RATHER confident that i can get distinction. i must.
then today, chemistry.
rate of reactions, mole concept and chemical analysis.
now i kinda wished i paid more attention to the t.y.s.
half the questions came from there.. arghs.
half the mcq questions on chemical analysis.
well, it could have turned out A LOT worse if it was in structured.
but won't fail.
every succesful test strengthens my resolve for the o's.
i have to! then perhaps for once, when we go visiting for cny, all those cousins i meet like once a year..
wont be like so 'aiya aiya oh'. ><
tests left: A Maths and Physics.
have to make good my word to do well for the other sciences, after dropping bio.
yes!

we had our last AQ training.
i was half an hour late, due to reasons i refuse to recount.
5 rounds, 2.4k route.
push-ups, diamond push-ups, jumping jacks, pull-ups, step-up, this and that
and it was supposed to be conditioning training.
much more trying than the earlier trainings.
might be a little too early, but a small reflection of the trainings so far:
okays, so i cursed, hated and swore on the intensity of the trainings, bitched about it.
i'm also grateful for a variety of reasons, namely
1) strengthening myself, physically (obviously) and mentally.
2)knowing more of my juniors from the company, and the friendship built.
3)helping me appreciate my fellow mates, be it for physical strength, the encouragement, the initiative.
i think that's about it for now.
but sometimes words cannot express the feelings i have.
although something i'm very blunt, and i really apologize for that.
the times i snapped back when i was fatigued, the coldness.
well, this saturday's our final test.
the fruits of our 4-month long labour.
give it your all for the competition, for 21st, and more importantly, for yourselves.

okays.. after all that bitching on the sad-dified subject of expedition,
i surfed pple's blogs. all from my link list. click, read, click, read.
and 1 hour just *phew* past.
so, the past few days. what did i do.
u know what? i forgot.
let me rephrase: it slipped my mind.
like hello, its 1am. i'm physically here but mentally not here.
okays, so from wednesday.
2.4km test run. 10:16min. whees.
3rd to finish, 1 bleeding second behind nelson. TT
and weiqiang that kuku run so fast (10mins+) bail out of aq. T_T
oh wells. after school, e maths test. good? don't remember..
but i think should be able to get distinction bah. ^^
met up with the sec4 aq members, 4 of us, and "rushed" down for training at bedok stadium.
even after all the "rushing", we reached at 5.30pm. left school ard 3+, 4.
the taxi uncle who took us to bedok stadium is uber funny.
he seems to really sympathise with our 'plight'. =P
okays, training. 4.8km. paced with da ye and wei wang.
24:33. that timing still on my stopwatch. lols.
one bad thing about training at bedok stadium is that i get distracted by the soccer training there.
the eagles. once, fabian giving instructions, and i just said, "wakao u kuku sia.. anyhow kick".
so it was damn obvious i wasn't listening to what he was talking about. ><
thursday passed, nothing spectacular. just past me.
friday, mass pe. i was high, dunno why.
push-ups, burpees, sit-ups, the 'perverted' game of slapping each others' rear.
only until i reached class, and sweating like nobody's business, did i really think:
what the hell?
and during maths, i got pissed just beccause miss ng could not hear me.
i guess cindy was got kinda irritated at me for that. >< sorry. =)
recess- played netball, and after that everything's back to normal again.
i slept through the last 2 periods of class. cme.
mr kee was sharing about some motivational stuff, and i just slept.
and i got "disfigured" that day too. but it was for a worthy cause. =P
okays, saturday. BB. SPA Presentation.
i didnt qualify because of ldc, and i wasn't the only one who didnt qualify just because of ONE badge.
after i missed the ldc2 camp last year, i also lost the qualification for spa, and eventually, founders.
i guess that really put me off, and after aq (next week) my mind's free of BB.
time to really get the brain juices going.
this is to all the inconsiderate cuckoos who treated bus26 like their home this afternoon:
tone down, chill out, and shut up. i could hear the lot of you all even through the blast of my mp3.
think about it.

okays, chem- organic chem.
quite interesting, in a roundabout sort of way.
the 1st time mr toh finished explained the naming process and stuff, and asked "any questions?"
i gave the blur giggle. and a few others joined in. that part was amusing.
the reactions and all.

okays, thats all.
and i've decided to forsake my situational, because i also have no idea how to continue.
looking forward to the load of tests next week. [yea right]
gotta study tml then......

yo! i think i'm sick. (not!)
throat very irritated.. T_T
now i sound like a duck. >.<
so sien.. ah..
march holidays over... currently suffering from "holiday-blues", as quoted by pastor chin.
ah nvm, the holidays wasn't all that great anyway.
so firstly,

AQ Expedition Camp.
friday morning to sunday afternoon.
just started camp, during bag inspection, do 75 push-ups ler.
can't even remember why.
but we went to a variety of places.
let's see... started at gm, walked [yes you read right] to eunos mrt.
the seniors were late in planting the next MGR.
running around like idiots at the station looking for that teeny-weeny slip of paper.
then walk to bedok reservoir. this part seriously pissed me off.
when we reached there, could not find that teeny weeny piece of paper again.
15 minutes later, saw the seniors strolling in.
but still no MGR. so we took a rest, and anyway it was nearing lunchtime.
then came the call to fall in. my w.o, 'er hua bu shou', whole lot knock it down.
reason: we no initiative to call the seniors for hints.
when i heard that, i was wtf?
even if we did call, the most probable answer will be, "Keep searching".
so why call. next they questioned the accuracy of our plotting.
they seem to have a retort to everything we say.
i didn't really see the point in arguing on. and a half an hour lunch break.
including cooking, eating and clearing up. field cooking.
i guess nobody really had the appetite to eat, belly-fill of fire.
at bedok reservoir, kayaking. Paddlez.
started drizzling, super shiok. cooling.
as soon as we cast off, the rain stopped. super suddenly. like *this*. aye.
next 2 hours, monotonus paddling. zzz.
next from there, cycling. 5+ pm.
next destination was east coast park, via changi village and through changi airport runway.
and the best part was, i took a wrong turning at pasir ris, went all the way to the end of pasir ris park.
wasted a bloody precious 2 hours.
i felt damn guilty la, and my teamates were all fatigued.
thanks for holding on.. amos, gary.
when we finally reached east coast, 2+ am.
about 4 hours after the 1st group. cool rites? =)
after that, camped there. 2 hours of sleep. 2.
i cant really start with the next day, as its already the next day.
but the point is, from east coast, took bus to king albert park.
we had another companion from there, kenneth.
from king albert park, next destination, Zhenghua Flyover.
i remember that route especially vividly.
Dairy Farm Rd. sparstic name.
from that dairy farm flyover, led into BKE.
now i know why it was supposed to be off-limits.
there was no proper route. overgrown with plants.
i got a few lovely scratches on my leg from that particular route.
and stained shoes.
when we finally reached, the seniors told us that there was another route underneath.
but somehow, i was too tired to care.
the rest of the day i passed like a zombie.
kenneth did most of the plotting, and after we 'allied' with league1, daye.
i just devoted all of my remaining vitality in keeping awake, and walking on.
Toa Payoh, finally the checkpoint, Little India MRT.
there, while searching for the next mgr, we called the seniors.
called u to go back to school via public transport.
at the moment, everyone's spirits lifted. literally.
but man, did that smile turn upside down the moment we reached school.
everyone officer and senior had a 'dulan' face
and you don't have to be a genius to figure out we were in deep sh*t
reason: uber lack of teamwork and commitment.
ran dunno how many rounds the quadrangle, fast and in step.
imagine trying to coordinate 24 half-dead people. riddiculous.
dinner was 8 pieces of bread for 24 people.
i was so damn pissed after that exercise, i just snapped at amos when he offered me the bread.
i didnt mean it, and everyone was fuming as well.
i rmb that time i said, (in chinese) "wtf, don't give me also i dun give a damn in hell"
but eventually they fed us.
then, i didnt know whether my anger has subsided yet.
i only know i was very very hungry.
after that wash up and sleep. the concrete floor of the classrooms never felt this comfortable. ^^v
last day, archery.
i seriously screwed at archery.
could be fatigue, slack, lack of focus or simply no skill.
fired like 8 arrows and none hit the board. damn sienjp.
after that swimming at kallang swimming pool, and finally...
BREAK CAMP.
terrible sore throat then, and slight flu.
i ate nasi lemak at the hawker centre, and a milkybar after that.
but the tastes were like distant. sobs.

okays, finally thats it for the AQ camp. really took damn long sia.
wednesday started, ended on sunday morning.

two days of remedials, over.
days of march holidays left- 1.
yep. 1 more day.
tml. ahhh sien ar.
will be away, where idk. all over singapore i think.
expedition from friday morning till sunday afternoon.
i guess that means physics is scrw'd. >.<
come back looking like a zombie. go to school on monday half-dead.
got physics make-up later. and tonite a bbq that i'm even sure whether i wanna go.
argh. think i will finish assignment 7 and 8 later.
blehs~

but on the bright side, i played bball again after so long!!
hahas.
to the pple who got sunburnt- get well soon yea. play more again. =P

the 1st day of the long-awaited March break.
okays. rewind.. Friday, 9/3.
rock wall~
it was tough. my forearms nearly cramped.
pictures in next post.
total of 3 flat walls, 3 slanted and one at the side.
the flat walls were easy, the slanted one, only 1 of the 3 was conquered.
by me and another sec2. xD
the side one was rather challenging, because the tiles will ascending diagonally.
it would have been a piece of cake if i was Spiderman. x)
okays, after the rock wall, my grandma's birthday, at Peony Jade Restaraunt, Clarke Quay.
have anyone tried a 18-course dinner? or was it 17.. nvm.
the point is, it was uber filling.
fishes, prawns, crab, pork, chicken etc etc.
but the food was uber delicious~ ^^v

saturday, 10/3
the night before, slept around midnight.
damn reluctantly left my bed at 5.15.
i was out of the house by 5.30, went to the city plaza bus-stop to take 26.
and found out the earliest bus was 0617.
is it possible to reach school in 13 minutes?? nope.
then mrt. kallang. and 853 to school. 0620.
phew.
left school on coach around 0700. about an hour to customs.
tai ti, mp3, PSP, handphone, books etc.
a variety of gadgetry to pass time.
sorry jaryll~ burnt your PSP. Burnout is just so addictive.
sorry to the people i inadvertently disturbed everytime i crashed. ><
okays. so we went to variety of farms.
pineapple, cocnut, rubber, gula melaka and rice.
we also went 'shopping'.
me, kenny, john, abe, jaryll.
arcade, jalan jalan, mac. yea, thats about it. 1 hour.
while the girls managed to get quite a few bags of stuff.. *_*
then we started on the journey back to s'pore.
by the time we reached school, already like 9pm?
then took bus home.
got back all my lost sleep~ muahahaha.

sunday, 11/3
nth much. tuition and grandma's place.
woke up at 10.. and it was because my mum woke me up.
i think i could have gone all the way to 11. lols.
wednesday physics make-up, 5-7.
aq training 6.30. T_T my mum wants me to go for tuition.
so.. enjoy the wed training pple. =P
at grandma's place, tennis on PS2. so fun.
though it kept hanging, very turn-off. >.<

after that gotta start on my homework..

havent blogged in like.... a week?
wow, new record. lols. >< okays.. a little 'lag' in timing, but let's recount from last week.

wednesday. 28feb-2mar>
adam khoo motivation study camp. the wake-up call to my life.
the 1st day, nothing much about it. just laughing like my life depended on it.
melvin, candice and freddy. the 3 trainers.
i have to say melvin is the one that left the deepest impression.
even on the 1st day, his self-intro really engaged both the classes.
candice. direct and to-the-point.
freddy, the "prata-man!!" hahas. he was quite interesting too.
thankqs melvin, for the "WAKE UP!"
thankqs candice, for the mind mapping and stuff.
thankqs freddy, for the speed reading, though i really resented that.
seriously, i rather push-ups over those up-downs and wdv chihuahuas u call it.
but really, it really helped me.
the last day of the camp, last 2hours. probably the best part of them all.
it sure was weird, seeing people you last expect to see breakdown, breakdown.
the songs, the "Whoosh!" thingy, the lessons, the 34-hours.
i promise it won't go to naught.
that night, i seriously reflected upon my life.
it really made my past 9 years of education look like nothing.
how soon everything can just pass.
casting new eyes upon my parents, my family, my friends. with a new perspective.
and i wish to hold on to that, forever if possible.
-Destiny does not control us, we control our own destiny.

saturday, 3mar. BB.
archery. cool experience.
got a slight rope-burn from the bowstring. my fault. =P

now, the past week.
passsed really fast.
loads of tests. geography, a maths, physics.
did my 1st mind map on geography, really a cramped mess. >.<
and got our progress report ytd.
still not within the below-20 range yet. but its close.
next short-term goal, below 20 for the Mid-Years. v^^
All the way! To me and all my fellow motivated cliques.
it was always there, only depends on whether we reach out for it.
March break next week. total of 9days, including this weekend.. and already about 6 days down. Geography field trip this saturday. gonna be quite a crowd. Remedials tuesday & wednesday. english and maths. others pending. ><
AQ Expedition camp next friday to sunday. gonna be hell. i expect.

okays, thats it for now.
homework.. then sleep.
